Why I Left Vercel for Coolify on My Own VPS
A huge share of MVPs today look the same: a Next.js app, pushed to GitHub, deployed on Vercel in two clicks. I've built that way too, and for a first demo it's hard to beat. The problem shows up when the MVP starts working. A page gets shared, a bot finds your API, a query gets slow. On a usage-based platform, every one of those requests is on the bill. Today I run 7 applications, 5 databases and an observability stack on a single VPS, managed by Coolify. From Next.js and Node.js to Python servi
🎯 Vulnerability: Remote Code Execution (RCE)
💡 Defense Fix: Avoid executing shell commands via system(). Use parameterized APIs and strict input sanitization.
